Established in early 2025, the Maryland Thoroughbred Partnership is taking the reins to help educate people in the state and across the region about the importance and significant economic impact of the $2.9 billion equine industry, underscoring Thoroughbred horse racing as a major sport and agricultural industry.  
 

Led and created by industry leaders and the people behind some of Maryland’s most important Thoroughbred farms, the organization hopes to attract attention to the robust industry in Maryland and shine a spotlight on one of the state’s best kept secrets.
